## Rømer to Delisle

The Rømer temperature scale was proposed by Ole Christensen Rømer in 1701. This measure was fix the zero initially using freezing brine, then it adjusts 60 degree at the point of the boiling of pure water and 7.5 degree as the freezing point. The unit is represented by °Rø after the value. Beware sometimes it has appeared as °R just like for Réaumur and Rankine scales.

The Delisle temperature scale was defined by Joseph-Nicolas Delisle in 1732. This measure adjust 0 at the point of the boiling water and 150 as the freezing point of the water. The unit is represented by °D (and sometimes as °De) after the value.

The Delisle temperature scale values are calculated from Rømer using the formula $$(60 - Rømer) × {20 \over 7}$$
